Almost Over

Triathlon season is almost over with cycling not far behind. A friend of mine, and fellow triathlon coach- remember that man name Justin?, has set up a regiment to keep me slim and fit for next season. He suggested that I should maintain the same routine. Hopefully, I will be able to perform this task.

Routine Physical

I went to my local doctor for a routine physical. I have a clean bill of health! Yay! So much for a person who is physically active!!!

Running on Hills

I never thought that running on hills would be difficult, until I started training. Running has always been my weakness. Today, I met with the Visalia Tri Club at the famed Rocky Hill, where runners, walkers, and cyclists unite. Typically, I would meet a group of people for a bike ride. However, this time was different.

I thought that running on a hill would be a piece of cake. Boy, was I wrong. As I approached the top of the hill, I was gasping for breath. Luckily, I had a friend run with me throughout the course. In the end, I was able to complete the course with minimal stoppage.
