It was a beautiful, mystical day in the heart of the Central Valley. The weather was absolutely perfect for endurance athletes. Today's high was in the early 70's with very little wind. Therefore, I decided to take a short 20 mile bike ride throughout the countryside. I wanted to take it slow and conserve my energy for tomorrow's triathlon. I averaged about 11 mph compared to my usual 15 to 17 mph. Not bad for somebody who's training for an event!
