Vi Tri Overview

It was yet another pool event for me. The Visalia Triathlon is a great event for beginner athletes. And the weather was absoultely perfect! The temperature was in the high 70's.

I learned from a fellow endurance athlete that the key to success is to maintain composure in an event at slow and steady pace. I swam at a modest speed of 1:40 a minute lap, broke ground at the bike while travelling 15 to 17 mph, and stormed away through the run to the finishline. Overall, it was a great race!
